How often does Mixshift pull data from Amazon (times per day)?
We restate historical data overnight each day with different lookback/restatement intervals throughout the week. The gist here is that we align with Amazon's restatement windows to make sure we match what's in console, though there can be differences throughout the settling period (42-60 days) based on when we pull a given interval and when Amazon restates a date's data but it reconciles over that period.
We do however pull bids and budgets every ~3 hours throughout the day to more closely match any intraday updates outside of MixShift (i.e. in console or other third party tool changes).
How often does Mixshift push to Amazon, and/or how long after a bid change does it end up in AMZ?
The answer here is 'right away' for both bid and budget changes. There can be a delay as Amazon updates their records, but typically the changes should appear in the console within 2-3 minutes at most. If there is a large bulk change done at once (many bids/budgets), it can take considerably longer, up to 5-30 minutes depending on Amazon. We also do update checks against every bid + budget to ensure Amazon is reflecting the changed value. If any fail, we send a popup alert and/or 'failed bid' note in the processing queue of MixShift per the below (see the arrow circle icon left of the download tray icon):
Are you doing anything with SQP data yet that would be applicable/available? We're obviously pulling it directly from the account but circling back per your recent email announcement.
Yes! We have ASIN SQP data on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis available in a closed beta as of January 2026. The Brand level is not available in the API to be clear. If you have a project regarding this, let us know, happy to test it out with the data, which we can send to google sheets via scheduled extracts.
For ad data hsitory we've seen campaign reports now being available for further lookback timeframes (2 or 3 years) - are you doing anything similar? In these audits we're always hamstrung by these limited lookback windows for ads so thought I'd ask if there were any updates there as it would be useful. Otherwise we're cobbling together various reports to assemble views.
We can't pull further back yet as of January 2026. Even though Amazon announced further lookback windows at Unboxed in November 2025, it is confined to console-only reports. Super frustrating. With the new V1 Reporting API beta, we may find we can pull further backward. If that becomes available, we'll integrate accordingly.
Another data import related question - we see monthly account level data going back to early 2024 but product level data seems to be limited to 2025. Is there any way to pull in the 2024 product level data as well on a monthly basis? Would help us with month over month views and not sure if this was just a throttling limit you guys had in place or not.
Yes, you got it, this is a throttling limitation. We currently pull 13 months of sku level Business Reports data upon activation and 25 months of date level data. We will look to extend the lookback window for SKUs in 2.0 reporting as well.
