Missing a seller or vendor in the Advertising Merchants or SP-API Merchants tabs?

I don't see one of my seller or vendors available to activate for ads or retail data. Why? What can I do?

We pull all sellers and vendors you're connected to via the Advertising API every hour. We send and email to your MixShift login email with any newly recognized merchants for which you have View & Edit permissions in the Ad Console.

Typically, if a seller or vendor is not appearing in MixShift, it is because you do not have the advertising 'View & Edit' permission in the Ad Console of Amazon for the given merchant.

If you do not have advertising permissions for the given merchant, or do not yet have an ad account, but would like to activate retail data for the merchant, you can add the sellers manually in the SP-API Merchants tab here: Add Seller manually

Because we pull the merchant record via the advertising API first, we are unable to recognize merchants for which you do not have the proper advertising permissions.

To check whether or not you have the required advertising permissions for a given merchant, go to the ad console using the login you've added to MixShift (i.e. with the Account you think the merchant should belong to).

**Attempt to pause or enable a campaign for the given merchant in the Advertising Console of Amazon

If you are unable to do so, you do not have the proper View & Edit permission for the merchant and will need to request it to be granted by the Admin of the given merchant account in Amazon.

If you are able to pause or enable a campaign for the merchant, here are the next steps to check:

  1. Ensure you have added the Amazon login that has the proper Advertising permissions to MixShift. This is why we recommend using the email login as the Account Name in MixShift as it helps you identify which ones you've added so far.

  2. Check to see if the merchant was added under a different name. Sometimes the storefront name we receive from Amazon does not match the advertiser or brand name you're expecting to see.

If none of these steps help, please email us at [email protected] with details about the seller or vendor that is missing, thank you!
