With the Holidays coming up, some of you may be venturing into the new realm of Sponsored Television ads on Amazon. We've got you covered with the data as released on November 18th.
TLDR: Sponsored Television data is now available in the MixShift databases, platform and Reports by the campaign, ad group, and keyword or target. For you data connectors, you can find the data in the campaignmetric, adgroupmetric, and keywordtargetingmetric tables of your databases.
A couple of key notes:
Data will be available from September 1st, 2024 and forward after November 24th (the weekend pull) due to the restricted lookback window of the API. Initial data in the platform will be available for the last 15+ days and then show the September 1st data and forward after November 24th.
You will see a new 'Campaign Type' option available throughout the platform and reports as 'Sponsored Television' if you would like to filter or pivot your data for Sponsored Television performance.
No search term or product ad (ASIN) level data is available for Sponsored Television campaigns per Amazon
You do not need to do anything special to pull this new campaign type data. It will automatically be included in any data pulls unless you are restricting on the basis of CampaignType.
Sponsored Television attributes on the basis of CPM. Your data will reflect accordingly and matches what you see in the Amazon Ad Console.
As always, we do extensive QA prior to the release but if you happen upon a bug or issue, please let us know at [email protected], thank you!
