Have you ever tried to separate one brand's ASINs and performance from another's in the same Seller Central or Vendor Central account? Yeah, it's a mess. That's why we created Brand Reporting in MixShift's Report Center and Share Center reports.

TLDR: You can now set up individual (sub)brand reporting for unique brands mixed within a single Seller or Vendor account. All you have to do is label the Items (ASINs) and Campaigns with the brand name values in Data Manager, then activate the unique brand(s) for reporting in the 'Brands' tabs of Report Center and Share Center. Voilร ! You have individual brand reporting now available!

This feature came from the requests of a number of our partners, primarily those who manage Seller or Vendor accounts with unique brands and reporting requirements mixed into a single account. Our Brand Reporting makes this reporting extremely simple and efficient, leveraging the MixShift reports already available for sellers and vendors.

See how to activate Brand reporting for yourself (click here to see walkthrough):

Who Brand Reporting is for:

๐ŸŸข Agencies or Rep Groups who buy inventory from multiple brands: If you have a single Seller or Vendor account from which you manage multiple brands because you purchase inventory from those brands and sell it as a distributor, rep, or reseller, then this reporting is for you. Label each brand's items and campaigns and reporting is ready to go.

๐ŸŸข Agencies tasked with managing a subset of a catalog: Sometimes, you land a whale. But the whale isn't ready to hand over the whole catalog. They ask, "Can you manage one of the product lines in the catalog to start?". You say, "Yes, of course!", then scramble to figure out how to separate the given ASINs from the rest of the catalog for reporting and advertising purposes. Brand reporting is definitely for you. Just label the managed items and campaigns and your reporting is ready to go.

๐ŸŸข Vendors with multiple vendor/brand codes in one account: If you have a large vendor account, then you know what a pain it can be to separate one brand or product group from another. Not to mention, Amazon doesn't always do a great job of labeling items with the correct brand, manufacturer, etc. on their own. You don't have to worry about that anymore. Just apply your own labels to the items and campaigns to have segmented reporting that is controlled by you.

๐ŸŸข Large Seller accounts with unique product line reporting requirements: If a catalog is large and enough revenue is at stake, you'll sometimes need to report product line or group performance to different teams that own the group within the same company. This is another good use case for Brand reporting as you can set up the product lines as separate 'brands' via the labels and have the reporting pre-built and separated, ready to deliver to the team that needs to see their own group's performance.

We're sure there are other use cases for Brand reporting and we want to hear about them. Which use cases did you think of or find? Drop us a note when you do, we'd love to know!

Note on data loading: With this initial release, we have implemented a daily cache refresh. Upon the first load of a report in a given day, we create a cache. The first load will be the slowest, but after the cache is established, the reports should pop relatively quickly. We clear the cache each night, so this process resets each day. Improvements for loading will be coming in the next iteration.

As always, we do extensive QA prior to the release but if you happen upon a bug or issue, please let us know at support@mixshift.io. Or, if you have any ideas about how we can improve the experience in MixShift, drop us a line at the same email. We look forward to hearing what you think of the new features soon!
